Private Wound Clinic Referrals

Referrals may made be by fax or electronically via email or Healthlink.

They are accepted from the patient, their GP or another health professional. However, GP agreement is necessary for you to be able to claim a Medicare Rebate.

A health summary will be requested from the GP, and copies of recent pathology and/or radiology results. Patients will be contacted direct to arrange an appointment.

Following assessment, the GP (and referrer if not the GP) will receive an electronic copy of the assessment and recommendations.
