Referrals

Referrals may be made by phone, fax or electronically. They are accepted from the patient, their GP or other health professionals. However, a GP referral is necessary to be able to claim a Medicare rebate.

A health summary will be requested from the GP, along with copies of most recent pathology and/or radiology results. Patients will be contacted directly to arrange a suitable appointment time.

Following assessment, the GP (and referrer if not the GP) will receive an electronic copy of the assessment and recommendations.

Please note that a referral cannot be accepted without the consent of the patient.
